Mr. Cook assisted us with our bankruptcy in 2012. He was extremely thorough, intelligent and helpful. For us, it seemed like the darkest of times and we felt overwhelmed, but he made it much easier and provided us with the relief we were seeking.
My husband and I filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy through Mr. Cook in June of 2014, discharged in October 2014. Multiple bill collectors are still trying to collect from us although they were included on our bankruptcy as well as a home loan. We disputed with the banks/ collections and were given written notice that they do not accept our discharges and never received documents from any attorney nor the NC court. Mr. Cook has dodged our calls for months regarding these issues and even after I mailed the documents to him, he had his secretary tell me there was nothing he could do. He still refuses to speak to us but he sure accepted our money. I just left my 11th message for Mr. Cook since January 2016 and if I do not receive resolution will be seeking legal elsewhere to enforce this man to honor what we paid for. At this point I would advise you proceed with caution if thinking about hiring.
