Went down to Wilmington to visit my parents (I'm from NJ) and decided to try this place. The service was excellent. The serving portions were huge. We went for brunch and I got the sausage, potato and cheese stuffed empanadas topped with sausage gravy and a fried egg. It was amazing. The meal was so large that I ate it for brunch and dinner. Now on to the beer. I have a preconceived idea of what an IPA should taste like ...juicy, citrus and dank. We have gone to about 6 breweries in the Wilmington area and I've had good porters and stouts but never a good IPA ... until Bill's Front Porch. The Profusion 3.0 was perfect. A single IPA so only 5.5%. They call it a NE IPA and they hit the nail on the head. I go frequently to Vermont so we always have stock of Heady Topper or Sip of Sunshine in my house. Also fortunate enough to live only a couple of hours from Magnify in New Jersey. If Bill's makes this a staple there is only one brewery I will go to when I'm down in Wilmington again.
Owner was super cool and friendly. Brewer made great beers. Cook made awesome food. I visited Wilmington for the weekend and stopped at five breweries. Super tasty beers here. Thanks Brookes!!!
Just such a let down to have to pay more money for crappier food!
Normally everything is perfect that’s why eat here so often. Our average ticket without tip is $120-$140.00
Please guys address this issue or you’ll lose more customers then us.
I can see why Bill's Front Porch has award winning wings! Wing and Beer lovers need to check this place out. I sampled four beers and I enjoyed each one. I really liked the Mango Wheat. The atmosphere was great and more importantly the CUSTOMER SERVICE was beyond EXCEPTIONAL! My girlfriend is vegan so she order the tofu pesto burger without pesto since it contains cheese.. she wasn't a fan of it but the waitress Katelyn quickly noticed and got her the 3 bean burger instead, it was just right. The fries are on point too! Keep up the good work!
We eat here all the time, once a week.... always a five star establishment. But today, total let DOWN! Besides the prices going up on everything which I can handle and is not a problem, but tonight the mashed potatoes were un-Edible! Super strong flavor of lemony citrus flavor, gross! Gravy was cold and collabored and 3/4 of the green beans were Burnt and still had the stems attached to them. (And I know the difference between fried and burnt)
Great restaurant! The atmosphere was very nice and updated. I went with a friend and shared the spinach and artichoke dip, amazing! I got the 3 bean burger and it was delicious. Service was superb as well.
On the positive side my waitress was very nice and on the spot with her responsibilities! Couldn’t ask for better.
