I just want to let everyone know that Honda Suzuki of Wilmington is a joke. And the only reason they get one star is because it’s the only way to leave a review. I brought my bike in for a new starter and oil blow off hose. Instead they took it upon themselves to tear my bike down and find problems that I didn’t ask them to fix. And when I got home I rode it for 5 minuets and it was leaking again. It took me 30 minutes to fix myself and they charged me $218. FOR NOTHING. And when I went there to talk to the owner, he instantly got Offensive an said he wasn’t going to get my money back to me because they “fixed” it. Then the owner had me talk to the mechanic which was nice but still wouldn’t listen to what I had to say. The work orders clearly show what I wanted done. And that’s not what they did. I usually work on my own stuff but it being the holidays I needed it fixed but didn’t have time to do it myself. They originally wanted to charge me $800 an when I said no. They just put the bike back together and still charged me $218. So long story short I wouldn’t rely on HONDA SUZUKI of WILMINGTON!!!!!

Good shop. I absolutely love my kymco. BUT. They need to pay more mind to their website and keep their inventory accurate.

I believe the sales associate I worked with was Mike. He was incredibly defensive from the start and had no interest in trying to sell a bike. I asked to take a test ride and was told, quite abruptly, they don't do that. I was made to feel wrong and I was wasting his time. I am confused how people review this business, and Mike specifically, as good. Despicable customer service. However, parts department was decent.

So, my boyfriend and I had brought his Honda four wheeler to this shop and specifically asked for a hose to be changed due to and oil leak and the starter to be fixed. This place proceeds to rip his entire bike apart and tells him that he is wrong it’s not the starter it’s the starter clutch and the hose was completely fine it was the valve cover gasket that was causing the oil leak. He didn’t want the bike to be completely ripped apart and he was going to fix it himself. They then proceeded to tell us that it was going to be 160 dollars then for diagnosing the problem and we can come get his bike, that was torn down, as it was. He said to go ahead and at least fix the oil leak and we would pick it up when it’s done. After ten minutes of riding it after it was “fix” oil was still pouring out of it from the hose that he had initially said was the problem because the hose was completely dry rotted. It took us 30 mins to fix it ourselves and the oil leak was fixed and hasn’t leaked since. We proceeded to go to this establishment to attempt to get his money back and the manager/owner, not sure which one because he never introduced himself, started to give us the most disrespectful attitude and wouldn’t let us speak. He said that we aren’t getting money back because work was done to the bike, however it wasn’t the work that we wanted done because the problem of the oil leak was still happening so the problem wasn’t fixed. The manager then proceeded to direct us to the mechanic to handle the issue and brought out our work order that made no sense and never stated what we wanted. When speaking with the mechanic he said that the gasket was the problem and that hose was because we had put too much oil in it and it was pumping out the oil and he had told us that when we picked the bike up. The mechanic had never said that, in fact he said that he didn’t even know if there was oil in the bike. After 30 mins of going around in circles because they weren’t understanding what we were saying and kept cutting us off mid sentence because they didn’t want to admit that they were wrong didn’t fix what the problem was we had left once the manager had said this is a ten year old bike and you need to make sure you have the funds to be able to fix what’s wrong with it and we tear bikes down to find what the issues are. If the bike was torn down to inspect it why did they not find the hose was completely dry rotted and needed to be changed. Money wasn’t the issue, the issue was we specifically wanted an oil leak fixed and got told we were wrong it wasn’t the hose it was the gasket. The hose was the issue and now we are out 300 bucks for a problem we trusted them to fix and we ended up fixing it ourselves.

Mike Hunter in sales was great to work with. He kept us informed and updated through the whole process and was great to deal with.
