My lawyer was very busy but once the ball got rolling she was awesome
I found Ryan through the internet as I needed a lawyer in Wilmington. I paid $200 for a phone consultation. After speaking with him, I liked his confidence and style so I paid $2300 on a $5000 retainer. After I received his contract via email which I didn't sign, it stated that the $5000 retainer was non-refundable even if we resolved the issue quickly. I didn't feel like I needed to pay someone extra money for services that didn't balance out the pay. After finding another lawyer to handle the case three days later, I asked for my $2300 to be refunded to me. Ryan stated that his law firm only refunds a max amount of money of $500 per month which it would take me 5 months to get my full amount back. I told him that was unethical to keep my money and if he needed that money to float his firm than they didn't need to be practicing law or needed to get a new accountant. I contacted my credit card company which has put in a dispute for me. I would not recommend to use this law firm if this is how they do business!!

Upon receiving my one time payment of the full retainer, she was unable to be reached for weeks on end. Once I finally received my refund it could only be given in $500 increments per month. Multiple individuals in the firm do not respond to phone calls or emails in a timely manner.
