This is a terrible school. Extremely overpopulated. The staff has lied about multiple things regarding my child. Children get bullied continuously even though they have an anti bully theme. IEPs are not updated or taken care of for the children that need it. The principal herself has been caught in multiple lies. Instead of dealing with children that need help they push them off to a school for bad children. The school does not follow policy or the laws.

While the school has plenty of room for improvement, half of the reviews are not true. Yes there is theft, and some of my peers do come to school high, but no people do not sell nor carry weapons. I will say that there are good teachers who care deeply about the students, and while there are many different scandals about Laney and its staff, the good people here are ignored. I've had teachers let me stay after and give me advice, I've had others help me through a death in my family. Laney does need improvement, but lets fix the actual problems instead of creating fake ones.

Most of the faculty I have had teach me has ignored blatant anti semitism directed towards me. Even worse they don't even have the dates for the summer school WHICH SOME KIDS NEED TO GRADUATE ON THEIR WEBSITE. Do N O T enroll your children here.
