If I could give an establish negative stars I would - I watched a girl get beaten by a very large man here while the 3 bouncers did NOTHING. My friend and I were the only ones that seemed to care to even report the crime and call the police. I will NEVER go to this establishment and if you are a woman I would not recommend that you do either because I genuinely feel unsafe after watching 3 grown men watch her get beaten. PROCEED with caution. I WILL be contacting the Better Business Bureau in addition to the claim I already filed with Wilmington PD.
Don't waste your time going anywhere else.
I have come to this place almost every weekend with my friends and girlfriend. My girlfriend has short hair and every single time we enter the blonde at the front stops us and try's to make her pay 5 dollars. I have a conversation with her every time explaining that some girls just have short hair. I went last Saturday and she was so rude and once again called out my girlfriend and decided to yell " well how am I supposed to know if she is a girl or a boy" first off that is beyond uncalled for then she continues to be rude about it and made my girlfriend cry. I get it from a distance with the short hair and the way she dress's may throw people off sometimes however as much as we come in and as many times as I have said something it's now an issue. The way it was handled was ridiculous and I had two other employees who witness this event apologize on her behalf to me. My girlfriend refuses to go back because she is so embarrassed and that is really a shame because this was one of our favorite places. I am well aware that the girl at the front has worked there since this place opened so this review probably wont effect her at all however she might need to be refreshed on how to be a decent human because things like this is why it's hard for the LGBT community to go out.
We went on a Saturday night. Place ed relatively empty. We were told that we couldn't enter without purchasing a membership. That wasn't the bad part. We were then informed that the ONLY person that could help us obtain membership was the owner who would be around on Monday! We were not granted access and we went someplace else.
Had a great time reminded me of home. Boston, Ma.
