Let me first start out by saying that I frequent this establishment often and have NEVER had problems. Last night however, we were stopping for curbside ordering after driving for 14+ hours. I called and ordered 2 12 oz prime rib medium rare. She told me 25-30 minutes. We got there and waited for the cars in front of us to be served before they came to our car. The lady who came to our car asked out name and went back inside. About 10 minutes later a man comes out to inform us there is no prime rib left. Now I totally understand that they don’t cook that much of it and it sells out quick. My irritation, frustration, and disappointment comes from the lack of communication between the staff. Had they checked their inventory when I placed my order they would have noticed it wasn’t available. No one called us to inform us they just made us drive there and wait at least 45 minutes. This location clearly needs to work on their communication, professionalism, and service.
I love Outback but this location always gets my steak over cooked. It is not rocket science medium rare. If you are going to offer choices if temperature. So at Longhorn it is or Ruth Chris... even though it cost is higher but the best.
I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it came out grilled. I sent it back and waited for a new sandwich. When the new one came the texture was off and the skin kept falling off. After opening the sandwich and looking at the chicken where the skin fell off you could see grill marks. I'm pretty sure they took the grilled chicken breast and dipped it and batter and quick fried it. The same exact thing happened to my friend with me. He saw that his was like that and complained before I got my second sandwich. So the staff knew the sandwiches were being cooked like that and still made another one to send out. They offered free dessert but nothing off the bill and at that point I just felt like leaving.
Friendly staff, I ordered med well prime rib, potatoes came well done. Steal was great. Waiter was okay, friendly and proficient but didn't check back much.
Nice place it took awhile to get our dinner. Which was strange cause they were not busy. But food was good.
