As a person who has never experienced Reel Cafe, I was super excited to try it. I'm a foodie and I love trying new places in my hometown. WELL, I was with my friends and we all placed a to-go order. And that was all fine and whatnot. Then as we are waiting (mind you there's no where to stand) the hostess was so out of line and completely rude to us. She basically said "I'm not tying to be a b****, but you need to stand somewhere else." Like holy smokes, how rude of you to say that to a paying customer. Pretty sure Burger King has better customer service etiquette than they do. Sorry, but never again.

I brought out of town guests here and was extremely disappointed. One of my guests had a discrepancy with the meal he ordered and tried to get a reasonable resolution with the server. When that didn't bring about satisfactory results he then asked to speak with the manager. The manager was condescending and the result was my guest said to take the meal back as he wouldn't pay for it. This happened a while back and I do not bring guests to this establishment anymore.

Being a former bartender, I get it, it was ultimately the kitchen that didn't get it right and we still insisted we tip our server. But you don't treat customers like that when they want to spend their money on your food and there are 30 other options right around the corner. Really surprised and disappointed with the food and the behavior of the so called manager.

What a terrible experience! Yesterday was my daughters birthday and we were looking forward to having dinner a nice dinner here. We didn't mind the 45 minute wait for a table as it was a Friday night and so we decided to order a couple of drinks while we waited. The bartender, "Johnny" handed us 2 drinks in small plastic water cups. When I nicely told her that we'd prefer glasses she very rudely and nastily told me (in front of our kids) that she would not serve our drinks in glasses because she was "running low". Seeing that she had plenty of glasses on the counter behind her, I asked again very politely...thinking we'd paid full price IN the restaurant and also that she had served the couple next to us in glasses. She was as rude as could be and flat out refused saying that she only had 2 glasses left and even had the nerve to flat out tell us that when we ordered the next round of drinks, she would give us glasses. When I asked her name she loudly told us that she'd be happy to get the owner for us since he was the one who told her to save the glasses and serve us in Plastic cups. I could not believe it. Needless to say we left without dining. My daughter was so upset and embarrassed by this woman's treatment of us. We stopped on the way out to inform the hostess of what had happened. She and the male host at the front were very nice and apologized profusely and even refunded what we had paid for the 2 drinks. We didn't accept the refund and let each of them keep the $5 we had paid as tips for their sympathy but by then we were all so upset by the experience that we just left. Very disappointing!

Attempted to eat here, however after 4 burgers they still couldn't get it right. The first 2 came out black, crispy, and burnt with cold soggy fries. They took them back and brought 2 new ones out, both were very rare (neither of us asked for rare) and even soaked the bottom bun with blood tinged grease. The manager came out and was incredibly rude, only offering to take a portion off the meals neither of us ate. We both said no, we aren't paying for a raw meal we didn't eat, and he told us we ate "a good portion, at least half". Incorrect, one bite was enough to know the burger was practically still mooing and I then picked them apart to see if ANY part of it was edible. The manager was incredibly unprofessional and rude beyond what anyone would consider acceptable for an employee of a service based establishment, much less someone who is considered a supervisor. As we left we told him to have a good night and he didn't even respond or acknowledge that we spoke.

The food is amazing. Great atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can bring a big group and have some genuine fun.
