This is a smaller KOA but with the same standards, very friendly helpful staff, nicely kept bath houses and only short drive to beach and straight shot to downtown Wilmington. Very clean park with great thought out site designs. We only had one small complaint because we stayed at a tent site was the light that was at each of the sites can't be shut off --they are nice to have but not so much when you want to sleep.

We had a great stay here over Halloween weekend. The staff did a great job with the activities and the park was very clean. I was much more impressed on this visit than a year ago.
I love this place normally. Close to dining, downtown and the beach. The cabins are basic but good normally. But this time we Got some rain and we woke up with literally gallons of water on the floor. It soaked everything we had. Would have been tolerable had the staff cared on the slightest. When I told them upon checkout the morning of the leak they shrugged and suggested I come back when it wasn't raining next time.
We have camped here since before it was KOA. Its a good, clean, everything works campground. The downside is a limited number of full hookup sites for this area. They could be twice as big a still sell out. I did notice some new construction. I hope its more full hookup sites. Nevertheless, this KOA is a great, pet friendly, campground that we will continue to visit for many years to come.
This was our first time at a KOA and we LOVED IT! Super impressed with the grounds, amenities, cleanliness! The cabin was perfect and we loved that there was a dog park! Staff was amazing! So nice and helpful. Very impressed!
Great for RV overnight or getting your propane tank filled but it isn't good for tents nor is it close to the beach. If you are planning to visit around Wilmington, it is easy to get on Market street and head into town but you will need a car (not cart) to get anywhere.
