This store no longer carries the cheaper upright vacuum bags so I bought the expensive ones -- $28.88 for 6 bags (ridiculous). Then I found the old style Oreck brand bags on eBay for less than half the price. This store refused to refund my money -- gave me a lame excuse that they could be torn when they could see the box was pristine and sealed and I presented the sales receipt.
No appointment needed for repairs. Service was fast. Staff courteous.
Their service is also expensive and sloppy -- on the last repair they broke the light in the machine and didn't fix it.
John at Oreck was exceptional - service and repair. I had become disappointed in Oreck over the last few years. Altho my vacuum was working, it was not working as I knew it should. I recently brought it for repair with hesitation (considered buying a different brand). I am so thrilled with the excellent result, I would recommend Oreck again! It is working better than it has in years. Thanks John!
