Great place for rainy day or too hot to play outside days. Lots of play sets and building block areas. Good mix for 1 - 10 year olds. Also has after school program for picking up kids from elementary school.
This place is fine for a day to play with your kids and even for birthday parties but I'm not sure I'd trust my child going back for a camp session again.
Lastly, for the fees that you charge for this summer camp you should include ALL shirts that needed to be worn that week. I had the shell out an additional $10 for the water shirt making my grand total for this week long summer camp $200. My daughter went to a week long resident camp and the total was $300. I understand they are 2 totally different companies but I was really rubbed the wrong way to find out that the shirt I received at registration was not what he needed for all the field trips.
I love brining my son to this place. A lot of options for kids to play and learn.
My son was enrolled full time last week for summer camp. Drop off and pick up were extremely easy and and quick. My son had a pretty good time during the week and enjoyed the field trips they took.
I think a lot of work needs to go into getting the summer camp worked out. My son did enjoy his week but the communication between the staff and parents was not were it should have been and if I am paying for something, I expect to get at least what I paid for. At this point in time, he doesn't want to go back to summer camp at all due to the couple of bullying incidents that happen there this week.
However, I'm leaving a 3 star review for a few reasons.
It's a shame we were not welcome after paying our money, feeling not welcome I do not recommending inner city groups. SHAME
Firstly- On day one, apparently my son was pushed off a tricycle by some other child and scrapped his elbow up pretty severely. Not one word was mentioned to me at check out about his injury even though there was a band aid over it. I understand things happen and I am not necessarily concerned that the fact that he was pushed (Not sure if that's 100% true since no adult ever told me anything) but the fact that no one mentioned anything to me upon pick up.
Next thing to happen was on the final day. It was the only day during the week that I paid for him to have lunch with you guys. I read over the paperwork, selected CHEESE pizza and read that he was also to receive 2 slices of pizza, fruit cup, dessert and a drink. When we got him home he said that he got pepperoni pizza (He wasn't given a choice apparently) and he only had 1 slice. No dessert was given to him either. I paid $6 for him to get a slice of pizza, fruit cup and drink. That is not what I paid for. Plus, I specified CHEESE pizza and that was not what was given to him.
Secondly- On day two it was Jungle Rapids day. Upon instructions, I had packed him a lunch and put it in his back pack so he could have it at the water park. Once we got home and emptied his back pack, I noticed that he hadn't eaten his lunch. When I asked my son about it, he told me that his counselors never gave it to him. This again happened on Wednesday.
We have been here a few times now and we love it. There are many different areas to learn and play in. If all the parents picked up behind their kids it would be even better
