We rented the McDonald property this past week based upon the online pictures. Misleading is an understatement. Broken blinds, beds felt like 1000 springs in your back, everything is SEVERELY dated, the doors are just slats(no real privacy), we killed roaches and water bugs every morning, had to pay and extra 10.00 for each bed to be made, filthy floors, and it was 2700.00 a week. Unacceptable. Stay away.
The person who answered the phone claimed to be the manager and said that there was no appellate process to a credit incident on my record. Why does this company care who else I may or may not owe money to and why don't they have a process to appeal this seemingly illegitimate application denial process? I have been an outstanding tennant my entire adult life (and can prove it with recommendation letters and income verification) and there is only one problem on my report stemming from my divorce where my ex wife refused to pay and it was put onto my credit report. This simply isn't a fair system and should be illegal if it isn't already. The other issue is how rude the person on the phone got with me when I even asked if there was a process by which i could appeal the denial. PLEASE FIX YOUR APPLICATION PROCESS OR STOP TRYING TO RENT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE THIS HAPPENS TO.
