After some research and comparison, my husband and I decided to go with Erik Holley through TowneBank for financing our first home, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our choice. But word of advice to other first timers- have your documents ready! W-2s, recent months pay stubs, last two year tax returns, etc. The more prepared you are the more prepared the lender can be.
