We were in a bit of a bind (I'll spare you all the details) today, three days before Christmas. A bike that we had planned to give our son did not turn out to be the bike we thought we were getting, but rather much more like the cheaper ones we already had in our garage. Our son is just getting into biking and we were looking for a decent, used bike. We ended up getting a REALLY nice older bike for him from Matt and Mary at City Bicycle Co., and we are very excited about giving it to him because it is SOOOO much nicer than what we ever thought we could get for him. All the staff were extremely nice and I enjoyed petting their dog, who was also very nice :-) In these days where most of our shopping is done online, it is very refreshing to go into a shop like this and have such a good experience.
I have been planning to get a Fat tire bike for the beach and for the trails around here for almost 4 years. I was waiting for the right time and bike. My husband and I went in to City Bicycle several times. Matt has a selection of bikes we hadn't seen before. He was great at letting me ride several and gave us lots of information. He was very patient as I worked through my process over several months of deciding what would work for me. He said, "My goal is to help you find the perfect bike for you" the last time I was in. Well he did it! I finally decided on a bike he had there in stock, that I realized was the best one after looking at several others on line and in stores. I really appreciate his patience and his knowledge about bikes and up front attitude.
Amazing and great quality bikes at a great price. Matt Jones is the nicest and most helpful man ever. He does all the research for you to find you the perfect bike for your needs and really cares about what you want. Overall a great experience and a great place to buy your next bike!
Awesome bike shop! I came in for directions for the city trail and Matt not only gave me an actual map but he also noticed that my bike seat was all jacked up and he fixed it for me! Great mom pop bike shop! Check them out!
This was my second visit to City Bicycle Company and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. Both times I had tires what needed repair but Matt checked the bikes over and made sure they were safe to ride. Especially since one bike was for my 6 year old grandson! I will be back and highly recommend City Bicycle to anyone in need of a new bike or a repair of a bike.
