Not a good place to take your car AT ALL. Brought my car in at the beginning of the summer, expecting it the next week. They needed a part ordered which took a few extra days which included having the insurance adjuster come out which I understood. But after the part came in, it was excuse after excuse and everyday they'd said "your car will be ready tomorrow". I'd call the next day and it still wasn't ready. They've gave us excuses we didn't understand such as "we're shutting down because of bad weather" yet it only rained OVERNIGHT. We didn't get hit by a hurricane. So that made NO sense. "A car accident on market st knocked out the power" and then "we need to take it across the street to get it on a frame adjuster" to adjust something they didn't even explain to us ?? Had my mom call two days ago and they said come the next day at 4 and it'll be ready. So my fiancé and mother went to get my car while I was at work and they actually got there late around 4:30 but the car didn't even have the fender on!! The paint on the bumper, hood, and door does not match the original color of the car so now I have a cream colored bumper, hood and door and a white car. The new bumper has a dent in it from them, a chrome piece to my fog light is missing, the hood was put on wrong because now there's a 2 inch space from the bumper to the hood, they crammed the bumper on and you can see where they did it too. I am not happy with Maaco. I waited all summer for my car to come out like that !? I will be calling the owner of that store.
Had to take my car back 3 times to be fixed after chipping and bubbles in the paint 2 months after first service. Second service the chipped areas were to be fixed but you could see the caked on rippled paint and STILL missed some areas of chipped paint.. Third time I was offered a rental car because it was super inconvenient for me to continuously leave my car there for days at a time. Thought for sure third time was a charm but the paint is very layered you can see it,, ALSO my seal around my windows are so very damaged and the black has been torn off from the tape used etc. Very displeased with my paint job wish I had known or I would have passed and saved my money. Didn't bother to contact them any further because its a waste of time.
The experience I personally had this morning as of 30 minutes ago at Maaco was atrocious. I witnessed my friends mother being cut off verbally abused berated and then threatened to have the police called on her. My friend has had to return this place 4 times due to the lack of quality in her paint job. The manager himself admitted to only doing some of thr work claimed to be done (which was already paid for by client) and when the mother said thank you that's all I needed to know you've been recorded he lost it. Proceeded to use the "f" word and yell that he was calling the police. This all transpired in front of Two other customers who stood in shock and disbelief as it is so hard to even imagine that this was really happening. But it did. I would never bring my business here these people are awful and try to get over on anyone they can. BUYER BEWARE
I had a pretty difficult time dealing with this company. I bought their top of the time paint job. The pricing on it was a few hundred more than what it said on the wall. They said it would be a week and I got my truck back just over 2 months later. The first time I went to see if it was the wrong color. They said that they mix the paints by hand and this was the cause of it. There were other problems too, such as a 3 inch long run in the fender. They did repaint it and got closer to the right color (though still not exact) but by this time there was so much over spray that it just looked ridiculous. The badges were in the wrong places and one was missing. In the end they mostly fixed the issues. There are still runs and my door jambs are hand painted. I felt like they never really worked on my truck unless I called them. I ended up having to go by there 5 times and I probably called a dozen times to get it done. If you do use Maaco just understand that there will be many imperfections in the finished product, expect a poor color match, and plan to call them often to keep the process moving along. On the upside the staff was friendly and kind throughout the process.
At first I had some issues with my car taking a while to be painted and there was some lack of communication at first, but after everything was solved I can say I am a happy customer. It is not a 10,000 dollar paint job but, they did great matching the color and fixing all the rust problems I had. I am a happy customer and Todd the sales rep seemed to be a very nice guy and was aware and wanted to fix any problems I had.
