Really, really good food. I love the eggplant Parmesan. Only other place I can get it like that is at Aunt Paulie's house in Boston. Nice people there too.
People who say this is good Italian food have not had good Italian food. It was not at all good. The noodles were overcooked (an Italian sin!), bread was nothing special, eggplant parm was soggy, and red sauce was burnt tasting and didn't have much flavor. You could tell everything has just been sitting in a hot box for hours, not fresh, these people saying it's fresh are very confused. It's a far cry from authentic Italian. The staff was also kinda weird. Constantly asking you what you wanted even when I told them I was trying to figure it out. Also pretty sure they were making rude comments. People who say this is a great deli are confused. My husband said his sandwich was mediocre and didn't have enough vinegar. I would go to South College deli for a good deli. The menu was also a bit confusing and in a couple of different areas. I tried some of a meatball and it was alright, pretty mushy. The only saving grace was the cheesecake. Never again!
Great service and amazing food! Been going here for almost 15 years and it continues to get better. Don't get the antipasta, it's just for me.
This place is a family run deli and cafe with a real taste of Italy. It's been around for 30 years. Provolone can be bought 20 pounds at a time.and fresh bread is always available. They do catering and you can get whole pans of lasagna or eggplant parmesan pre prepared on-site to cook at home. We love this place!
I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was great. They used real mozzarella cheese and used thick slices of it which made this sandwich even better. Plus they also used their own fresh Italian baked bread. They also sell lots of authentic Italian cooking supplies. They also sell their own fresh Italian baked bread.
