I was evacuated from my Home during Hurricane Irma and ended up staying with some family in Wilmington for a few days. I went to two different Crossfit gyms during my time in Wilmington, and this was by far the better of the two. The first gym I went to no one was not a very welcoming experience and it seemed I was just invading their space- so needless to say I looked for another gym and that's when I found Crossfit Wilmington. Everyone there was extremely nice and welcoming. I was fortunate enough to have family in Wilmington to stay with, but I have no doubt in my mind that if I did not have a place to stay during the storm they would have accepted me with open arms. Really great facility- great equipment and the coach I had for my two visits was awesome. I will be visiting this gym every time I am in Wilmington visiting family. These people are the perfect example of why Crossfit is such a special community.
I do a lot of traveling for work, and when I'm on the road I like to drop in at different boxes. I have to say that I was super impressed with CrossFit Wilmington, Coach Stephanie was top notched she immediate introduced herself to me and made me feel right at home. I had a great time meeting the other athletes and throwing down. Thanks for and next time I'm in Wilmington for work or pleasure I'll be back!
One of the largest gyms in ENC yet has a small community feel to it. Great staff and even better members.
