instructed to proceed trying to secure the loan and when it got closer to the closing date I could ask for an extension. As the closing date became closer and I was informed by the loan consultant that the loan would not be complete we applied for a extension to the closing date I was told No immediately and then told if I could get the appraisal completed they would consider extending the closing date. The reason that was stated from Live Oak for denying an extension was that I knew when the closing was set for from the beginning. When I mentioned that I had also already asked for an extension because of the loan process

they retracted the denial and told me to get the appraisal done and go from there. I was also never able to actually speak to Pam Wooddell regarding the issue with closing I always had to go through her assistant Matthew Minneman who was also equally unhelpful or willing to work with me. I had the appraisal completed and made sure the information got to Live Oak as soon as the information came through but was still denied an extension on the closing date. In the end I had to cancel my offer on the house and walk away. I am sorry I ever came across this company and I feel bad for anyone who has to go through them to buy a home.
