I would like to notify you about a local Chinese restaurant in Wilmington that needs to be somehow informed to our community. I went to Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet this evening to eat dinner with my two daughters. About halfway through our meal, I heard a motor running in the kitchen. I got up to use the restroom and a waiter came out. As she came out, behind her were two men pressure washing the kitchen floor. Now while they were pressure washing, the cooks were also cooking food right near them. I immediately notified my waitress, who seemed to have no idea what I meant. she told her manager who we later were told to talk to. We told the manager what was happening, the manager told me that it takes 3 hrs to clean the floors. I said what about the debris flying on the food or the gas fumes from the exhaust on the motor. the only response I got was "we use gas stoves"... me myself should just park my car in the kitchen cook dinner and pressure wash my car. I was very shocked with my experience with this restaurant after being there numerous times.
Quality fresh ingredients, white sauce is the bomb, good amount of food for the price. Fast and friendly service. This place is literally better than all of the sit down fancy hibachi places in town at half the cost.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Christmas was wonderful until I decided to come to Hibachi buffet for Christmas dinner. Our waitress was enjoying her Christmas dinner at the same time we were waiting for refills. Once we got her attention, she got up, came to our table, took our cups, and proceeded to bring back refills. The problem is she is foreign to the concept of hand sanitizer, or soap and water. When I complained to the manager, I was told as long as she didn't use the bathroom, there shouldn't have been a problem. Definitely no longer a customer!!! Beware of insanitary conditions as their current score is 90.0 and I DEFINITELY understand why!!! My family andI will NOT be back!
I love this place! The chicken is never dry the veggies aren’t over cooked and the portion is huge! My favorite is the sweet and spicy chicken it’s just the right amount of spice.
Came to have Christmas dinner with my family. While waiting for refills following several minutes of nothing to drink, we turned around only to watch our waitress also enjoying Her Christmas meal! We got her attention, asked for refills and to our surprise, she came straight to our table, picked our glasses up and proceeded to bring them back, NEVER having touched hand sanitizer, nor soap and water. No towel, NOTHING!!!! Complained immediately to manager who said as long as she didn't go to the bathroom he didn't see any problem. I WILL report it to the health department. All beware!!!
