Great food, great service. Best Pho I've had. Only thing I can think of that may be a problem is that you have to bus your own table.
So my sister and I went in because she had a good experience before. But we were waiting on a friend and taking a look at the menu because I've never been there before. So maybe we were in there for about 10 or 15 minutes when a man asks if we are going to order and that they needed the menu back. (Apparently they only have 3 menus) Then like two minutes later the cashier looks at us and asks if we are ordering, so my sister proceeds to order a smoothie while we wait. Our friend arrives. They say my sisters order number and then asks to verify on the receipt. (They didn't do that to other customers) We also kept receiving strange looks from the whole staff, so we all decided it was best to leave and go somewhere with better customer service. The only reason I did not give them 1 star is because my sister went there once before and she said she was not treated like that and that the food was good. So the food may be good but the customer service is not the best. Part of me understands they are small and had all the tables been packed I would have definitely understood why they were rushing us, but there was one to two empty tables the whole time we were there.
The food is decent, however...and it's a big however. The one guy that hands the food to the customers is the most incredibly rude person I've encountered in a restaurant. He acted as if I wasn't holding a ticket with the order # clearly displayed on it. He made this incredulous face as if I was lying and apparently had no concept of common courtesy, like "you're welcome". No attempt at a smile or decent exchange. In fact, he actively frowned and made excuses for his actions. He continued this ill natured behavior towards my friend and I when he had to give us the second part of our order. I will not be returning. Go to this mediocre place at your own risk.
My soup was not tasty. Noodles hard, beef like jelly , tasted as if it was sweetened with sugar. But the other meal I ordered was good but no salt in rice. Presented nicely. People nice. Fast. You have to bus your own table :-( Forks are kept in a cup on the table. :-(
Small but huge on authentic Vietnamese food! Wow! This place is great. I had a combination Pho and spring roll. Wonderful. Lunch crowd is packed. Get there early!
