Amazing caring staff. Made my dog so comfortable !

I'm very disappointed in Carolina Beach animal hospital for not working a euthanasia in on a Saturday at the College Rd location. Will be looking for new vets all around I guess.

My pug Archie fractured his leg and had to have surgery here. The staff was amazing I felt so bad for bothering them all the time to check on my boy but I never once had a problem with any of the staff! He was there for almost a week when it was time to pick him up they throughly went through everything and explained how to give my dog his medication and told me which one he dosnt like and that he fought them to take it. So glad his regular vet sent him here! He is recovering well from surgery and is there getting his one week splint change today. I'm very thankful for this vet ❤️

This place is absolutely amazing!!! They took such great care of Miss rags during such a long and difficult process. The nurses are AMAZING!!!, the receptionist are so sweet, caring and attentive and dr Williams was absolutely AMAZING! We were absolutely blessed to have such an amazing team work with our little baby and I know she already misses her nurse friends! We love you all!!!!!

Edit: I think it says a lot when a business gets a bad review and wants the customer to call them instead of exerting a little effort and reaching out to the customer. Shows how little they care.

I've had to have quite a few cats euthanized unfortunately and this was the worst experience I've ever had. Dirty (hair on floor and cat food on sofa in "comfort room" or whatever they call it), loud (3 other customers in for obviously less severe cases talking loudly in the waiting room while the receptionist did nothing about it), and the worst part was it took almost 30 minutes from the time they took Maggie to the back until the time they brought her to me for the final step. 30 minutes of her scared and frightened is unacceptable. Every other euthanasia I've had to go through I was with my cats the whole time and it took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. The excuse was that they had to install an IV and she's old so it was hard to do. Every other euthanasia, they've never done an IV. She also heaved four times as if trying to breathe after the vet (or tech, don't know) said she had passed. That may be a common reflex action but again I've never experienced it with any other cats.

Unfortunately I've had to bring a dog and a cat to the professional services of Dr. Williams. They were wonderful with both! I highly recommend ecvr for any orthopedic surgeries needed for your pets!
