Go to a different men's wearhouse, or another rental place. This place is terrible
My fiancé went in to pick out tuxedos for our wedding . After waiting for 20 minutes, the attendant finally greeted us and asked what we were interested in (black tuxedos) he proceeded to show us grey and blue suits. We were interested in a cummerbund rather than a vest, but both associates couldn't tell us whether the jackets were supposed to be buttoned or open for the ceremony/reception. They also didn't know what a pocket square was. We then were asked to wait again while the associate took a phone call to schedule another appointment. Do yourself a favor and save an hour of your life by walking across the street to Jos. A Bank. They have the same selection and prices with better service.
Go elsewhere....Do not go to the Mayfair store in Wilmington NC. If I could give a zero star I would. I wanted a gray tux for my daughters wedding and knew they had exactly what I wanted. To start, I own a black tux with several different options so, I had a fall back.
Kudos to this place. They got me fitted and out the door in less than 20 minutes. They are very accommodating and work with you, so you can look like the dapper dude you're trying to be.
Very helpful with the rental. Despite this I have been extremely disappointed with their service. When I went to pick out the suits for my wedding we were told, and I quote, if we payed for the grooms suit today we would recieve a cupon for a FREE SUIT. In reality it is a 400 dollar cupon. Just a hint, there is not 400 dollar suit at mens warehouse. Will NOT be going back and have basically wasted this cupon. The other option would have been putting the money towards a rental. Total scam!

The main problem with is this store is a young man that works there. His lack of knowledge, lack of helpfulness, and total lack of competency was unbelievable. It took 6 trips to the store to get my tux. (We live 30 miles away) Should have been 2 possibly 3 trips at most. Renting a tux is simple.. I have done it numerous time for filming where I give wardrobe my size and they rent one. Not at this place. The most aggravating experience ever for $250.00. I walked in the first time and saw exactly what I wanted and asked to get measured. As the young man started to measure me two other customers walked in and he went and started to help them with their tux order. After 20 min he came back to continue then the phone rang and another 10 minuets of helping that customer. It took another 15-20 min for him to attempt to enter my information in the system for the order. When entering my sizes he asked what size jacket I wanted....isn’t that his job.. didn’t I just spend 30+ minutes getting sized..? I had selected a vest they had there and he opened a book to find the item number...he could not so he slid the book to me and said.. you find it I can’t... WoW really again isn’t that your job. I pointed right to it. Over an hour to get it ordered. I went in again with my daughter and a groomsman to order his tux and the same young man was there. Here we go again.... 20 minutes to try to find my order in the system so we can get the same thing and he was incapable of doing it. So I showed him the tux and had to show him the vest and tie in the book. At this point I should start working there. When I got the email to come back and pick up my tux I scheduled an hour plus so I would have time to deal with his screwups because I knew there would be some. The vest size was not even close to fitting not a big deal. But yet again the young man asked me... well what size do you want me to order for you? Wow. I could go on and on with examples of his lack of competency and overall poor attitude in the work place but I will not. Worst customer service ever in any store. We ended up canceling the groomsmen tux and having all of them wear their military Dress Blues to avoid dealing with this place any more then we had to. Ordering my daughter’s wedding dress and having alterations was a 1000 times easier than this painful process. The most frustrating part of planning an entire wedding... was renting a tux at Mens Wearhouse.
Don’t ever use this location to rent a tux. Just look at the other reviews about this place.
