Rented tux from them for my wedding. Groom and three groomsmen. Kept getting our order wrong and the manager blamed us for their mistakes. One groomsman was missing a cufflink. And two of the groomsmen we're given white button up shirts that we're stained. Very disappointed. I will never do business with them again.
I rented a tux for black tie dinner out of state. Very last minute - fitted on Tuesday and it was ready for me to pick up on friday in Wilmington (different from where I was measured). I was quite surprised they were were so accommodating. Very easy and quick. Everything fit and was correct. I would use them again
Smell before you buy. I bought a $100 pair of Lucky jeans at that store 6 days ago (my fourth pair). A couple of days later I noticed a really unpleasant musty smell. After some investigation, I concluded that the smell is likely moth balls. I confess that when I tried the jeans on at the store I did not raise them up to my face and so I never noticed the smell at the time. So I tried to wash the smell out to no avail and tried using vinegar which I read online might work. Nothing worked and in fact things that have come into contact with the jeans will assume the smell as well. My wife smells it too. I tried to return them and was told they couldn't accept the jeans back because I had tried to wash the smell out. Fine, I guess if the store is selling slightly defective merchandise, it's on the customer to notice before they get stuck with a bad item. Moral of the story is don't just trust that you are getting a high quality item at the Men's Warehouse without careful inspection (including smell). It could have been a shipment of items that was treated with moth balls, although that is speculation and the store associate didn't think there was any other cases of smelly clothes, so I'm just out the $100. I left the jeans at the store as a souvenir. Think I'll ever go back?
Update: I sent in a complaint about the smelly jeans to the Men's Warehouse online and they sent me a new pair. There was no arguing or convincing, they just apologized and asked for my address so they could mail me the jeans and said they wanted to restore my faith in the Men's Warehouse. Makes me wonder why the store associate was so adamant in his refusal to accept the return. He even interrupted me as if any argument I would make could not change his mind. Maybe it was just him and not a reflection on the store itself which apparently does stand by their merchandise.
Update: Had some rentals for a wedding and they messed up telling the groom they gave me a vest two months before the wedding a vest that is guava color which was special order. Then to top it off they said i had not paid for the rentals which was wrong. I would not use them for a wedding. But on the store side of things I had a amazing experience!! Went in for wedding outfit and came out with a lot more. Shannon was awesome will definitely be back!!
Went here as an out of towner as a wedding tie was forgotten at home. We had purchased suit, shirt & tie at our local Men's Warehouse. Using their computer system they "brought up" our purchase & pulled these items from stock. The wonderful & talented sales guy selected a couple of ties. This is why we went here - to take advantage of their expertise.
