I love Banana Republic for the quality and styling of their clothing. I was in this shop today for a good 20 minutes and, after saying hello, the 2-3 sales associates in the store ignored me. I was the only male in the store and they maybe had two other customers in. I don't forgive poor customer service easily. I was also disappointed that easily 80% of the men's merchandise was tailored slim fit or slim fit. Is that all BR does anymore or is this store just out of touch with the diversity of shapes and sizes? I'm not a big guy by any stretch, but these fits don't work too well for me. The lack of any attention was more disappointing, but the poor selection didn't help the experience.
I was thrilled with my experience here. The staff was so nice, and I tried on a lot and always had help with sizes. They gave honest opinions and never pushed. I will absolutely go back. I am making a return, so I'll see how they handle that next.
