Dr. Groat and staff always go out of their way to help me and are a great team to visit. I see Dr. Groat regularly for my eye treatment and I feel like he truly cares about my progress. I would recommend Dr. Groat and team to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist in Wilmington.

I have always been very nearsighted with astigmatisms. In the past few years my vision became even more nearsighted and I added cataracts to the mix. Thanks to two Toric Ocular surgeries and great followup care, a week after the second surgery my vision is 20/20. Pretty remarkable!
DO NOT EVER go to this doctor!! He is the most unprofessional person you will ever encounter in the medical field. He screamed at both me & my daughter at my post surgical appointment...no excuse for this behavior! He has serious problems and the staff in his office are no better. Stay away!
