I love Dr. Gutsin and his staff. They are laid back, professional and honest. I love the sense of humor around the office and Dr. Gutsin's sense of humor makes me feel comfortable. I can be honest with him and I feel he is always honest with me. He respects my opinion and trusts that I know my body and know what I want in regards to it.
I have never had a negative experience with him or any of his staff, and I've been a patient of Dr. Gutsin for more than 4 years.

I have a difficult time understanding some of the negative comments posted here. Rude staff? Not my experience, ever, even when there were billing and insurance issues. Follow up, notice of appointments, after hours questions to doctor during emergency situations have been handled professionally and courteously. Dr. Gutsin himself scores extra points for treating me with dignity and respect. Qualities that are so often lacking with "professionals". Racist? Please! His staff is ethnically diverse, and everyone that has drawn my blood or checked my vitals regardless of race has been professional and kind. Dr. Gutsin's quick actions and diagnosis has most likely saved my life when I contracted cellulitis. Sure, he gets on to me about my weight, and smoking, but not in a condescending manner. He is a very good doctor and has a good sense of humor. I highly recommend him and his staff.
I will not take my son to anyone else. In the past, we've been treated like a number. At Magnolia Family medicine..they treat us like family.
My son uses Magnolia Family as his GP. The staff have always been nice and friendly. Dr. Gutsin explains things thoroughly and is very helpful with diagnostics. When my son had hearing issues, Dr. Gutsin tried to help, but when his method did not work, he recommeded and ENT specialist that took care of the issue. This is the one and only time he recommended a specialist, unlike my son's former GP that sent us all over creation to every specialist in the phone book. Magnolia has always treated my son with respect and have always had same day or next day appointments available for urgent care. I've only had one prescription that was incorrect, but when I called and pointed out the issue, they had it corrected and resubmitted the same day.
So if you want to be treated with disrespect, verbally abused and completely unacceptably by the staff at Magnolia family medicine, then this is the place for you to go. However if you think that a doctor and his employees should speak professionally and sympathetically to the patients, while also being able to handle billing correctly and properly. Then I recommend going to another Dr. While Dr Gutsin and his 1 nurse are very kind to you while in the office Dr. Gutsin allows his billing and secretaries to treat and speak abhorrently to his patients, and allows them to hang up on the patient, and then be told that he will not call you back. They should be able to speak professionally to a paying patient without hostility and disdain, simply because You call and try to make sure that a billing issue is being handle in a timely and efficient manner. I mean 6months seems to be a long time to contact the insurance company and handle the billing. I also was treated as a hypochondriac because the Dr. was unable to give me a medication to cure my strep throat. for 6months he gave me the same medication that was not working, and was having me return to see him EVERY week! So again this is just not a good practice. I will not be returning to him and my insurance company is witness to the berating I received on a conference call with them and the Dr office. Will never recommend them to anybody!
