Been seeing Dr.Rodgers about 2 yrs now for a few issues with my spine, lower back and neck, we'll not much help with lower back few injections thus far. My neck on the other hand , March 8 two level fusion 5-6-7 and so far so good best thing I've done is having that done. Appointments are hard to get appointment setters suck much work is needed to improve that part of this practice. As of now I'm very great full for Dr.Rodgers and Mr.Free for helping me like they did. As a patient of orthowilm I would recommend them but you need to know there answering service sucks. I have had best like emailing them .
I have had three procedures at EmergeOrtho. I had a complete hip and knee replacement last year (2016) by Dr Frueh, and just today (12/18/17) I had my thumb repaired by Dr Bahner. With each procedure, I was more and more impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of each Physician, as well as all the attending individuals (too numerous to mention) and every member of their respective staff. I would undoubtedly recommend EmergeOrtho for any Orthopedic needs you may have. YOU may not hear exactly what YOU want, but they are the professionals, and I trust them explicitly.
I am having knee surgery this week and was just notified less than 48 hours in advance (surgery was schedule over a month ago) by an extremely rude woman that I need to get a hard copy of my MRI from their EmergeOrtho office in Durham where I had my MRI done because I was at school. Despite the fact that it was their office's suggest that I have the MRI done in Durham because they are supposed to be partners and be able to share medical info and records across offices, they did not communicate this to the Durham office at any point in time that I was going to be having the surgery in Wilmington with Dr. Boswell and therefore the Durham office would need to send them the MRI for them to look over. I got a voicemail this morning telling me to bring a physical copy and when I called back I was told by the operator that Megan, who had told me to return her call, "would not take my call", and therefore the operator was trying to communicate between me and her instead of putting Megan on the phone. Megan was extremely rude to me acting as though this was my fault and not hers, and when I asked her what she would have done if I was no longer in the Durham area and unable to get a copy, she said that the surgery could be done without the images (aka the Doctor would operate without ever seeing my MRI) rather than offering to have the Durham office overnight a copy. Their entire staff has made this situation extremely discerning in what I hoped would be an easy, reassuring process. Extremely dissatisfied with this office and their facade of a partnership with other EmergeOrtho offices.
Dr Rodgers changed my life! He’s very professional and his assistant is very sweet!
I have nothing but kudos for this physical and occupational therapy business. I think that they may be short staffed, but my occupational therapist (Dawn) is stellar.
