Everyone very friendly, #from the front to the back. My ins. Did not cover meds for cataract surgery. They offered samples.

Terrible experience. Not one person introduced themselves to me or my son nor explained what was to take place. When the doctor arrived, after over an hour waiting, she never introduced herself and instantly started complaining about her day. She recommended my son have eye drops to dialate his eyes, he was nervous. Naturally. The staff wanted me to leave the room so they could restrain him - he did not need restraining. He was simply crying because he was scared. He needed someone to tell him what to expect and be patient. Restraining a nervous 7 year old without a parent present just simply should not be an option. Of course, I did not consent to restraining him so the doctor would not conduct an eye exam. --- I will NOT reschedule.

Dr Oester and his team are absolutely wonderful! I left the office in tears today because of the genuine care and compassion they showed my 12 year old son! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I'm still in shock over their kindness after my son's eyelid procedure! Thank you!

This was the absolute best experience I have ever had or witnessed in any medical office. My 91 y.o. great-uncle had an accident at home, suffering burns to his face and left eye. We took him to the emergency room where they told us there wasn't much they could do except send him to Chapel Hill. Being the stubborn, crotchety old man he is, that was most certainly a no-go. The ER physician called Dr. Leone who graciously saw my uncle AFTER office hours. Not only did she see him; but, she and her staff were all very patient and kind. They listened to the long version of his burn story as many times as he told it. They even brought in extra chairs for my parents and I to sit during his examination. Dr. Leone was very knowledgeable and attentive. Her explanations were thorough, appropriate and understandable for lay people. She seemed genuinely concerned about my uncle's eye. I'm not sure the treatment I was expecting; (especially considering this visit was after hours) but, I must say my mind was blown by their kindness.

Everyone was so friendly. Dr.Cox really showed me that she cared about my situation and took the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this place.
