For starters, the rooms are MUCH more smaller than they are portrayed online. There are absolutely NO dishes in the rooms, not even a glass to drink from. There was literally one small bar of soap, no shampoo/conditioner which I'm accustomed to seeing at even the smallest ran hotels/motels. We were told that we wouldn't receive house keeping during our 3 day, 2 night stay. As for breakfast, if you consider mini muffins, granola bars , instant oatmeal and coffee breakfast then hey, to each it's own. Parking is absolutely terrible. The location is great, its nestled around some high end and cheap restaraunts. Even the traffic during rush hour wasn't bad. But that's not enough to save the fact that I'll never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Overall: This hotel works if you're on a budget and are out of options, but I would not stay again. Perhaps under better management this hotel could greatly improve.
Cons: poor cleanliness of room and shower, wifi did not work, trash in hallways, foul odor throughout, provided breakfast was only granola bars and oatmeal, and while there are dishes available upon request for the kitchen that information was not made clear during check in.
This hotel is on par with a crumby super 8 or motel six. It is an older hotel with fresh paint. Definitely needs better house keeping. Don't be fooled by the advertisement of "free breakfast." It is just a cheap granola bar. The full kitchen is nice so you can make a full breakfast your self. The front desk staff was very nice.
Housekeeping did a terrible job when it came to the cleanliness of my room. The housekeeper was finishing up my room when I got there. Before I brought my bags into the room, I checked the sheets. Before I did a thorough inspection the housekeeper asked how did she do, and that she makes sure her rooms are clean and that she doesn't play when it comes to cleaning the sheets. That was a lie. The sheets and mattress had stains all over. the side of the mattress cover had brown stain all along the sides. It was gross. I told the housekeeper. She was cleaning the room across from mine, and she gave me new sheets mattress cover. Pretty much everything that goes on the bed. She asked if she wanted me to have the lady downstairs to put it on. I was confused because why would the person at the front desk do the housekeepers job. She said she would get her. That was a lie. I waited 30 minutes no one came. I don't think she told anyone. My boyfriend had to change everything which was absurd since we are the guest. We should NOT have to change our own sheets. She claimed she made sure everything was clean but everything had stains on it. I don't get it. There was also a dead bug on the wall as well as an alive bug in the bathroom. I was highly disappointed. Also, there should be more than one person in the morning during check out. The lady at the front desk shouldn't have to check all of the rooms to make sure everyone is gone, and also check people in and out. I had to wait about 20 minutes for her to come back to the lobby just to get a receipt. It's not her fault, but it was very unprofessional. I stayed here April of last year and had a completely different experience.
Pros: safe area, no bugs/pests, kitchen in room (with sink, stove top, microwave and a full size fridge/freezer)
Paid: $58/night including taxes and fees.
Cons: The first room smelled strongly of smoke and our request to change was handled promptly. Our second room has no upholstered chair, still, on our third day, with requests for one every day. The hot water is intermittently sufficient, but sometimes barely warm enough. Hordes of construction workers have arrived every afternoon jamming up the parking lot with large trucks and some hogging two parks. In the evening the hall frequently reeks of cigarette smoke. The internet is literally almost dial up speed with an additional charge if you want it to actually be usable. Pros: the room is clean, bathroom is clean. It's been pretty quiet. The bed is firm and sleeps well. Fridge works well, AC is good, smart TV is fine with basic cable. Coffee maker and dishes available for kitchen in room, which is also clean and in good condition. Overall it's decent for it's cheaper price.
