Not a bad place to stay. It is not very expensive. The room was clean
Good for the price especially if you only plan to sleep here and leave. Staff was nice, but the room was dirty. We had mildew all over the shower curtain like it hadn't been cleaned in months, stains on the bed covers, frozen food in the fridge, stuff still on the carpet that my dog tried to eat, hair on the sink faucet and holes all over the window curtain.
The reviews did not do this place justice. For the price it was exceptional. Of course not perfect, but they are actively improving. Staff was super friendly and accomdating. The rooms were clean and new. I did not feel unsafe as others have said. I brought 2 small kids and they had a blast in these spacious rooms. No bugs like other said. We had a great time.
Definitely making some improvements here. Not a five star hotel or anything but it is more than worth the price and I felt safe at the location. Even pet friendly.
We've stayed here twice now The rooms are very decent. For the price we paid it was excellent. The locals do say that there is a lot of criminal activity in that area of Wilmington. However, we didn't see anything that backed that statement up. Although we really didn't leave the room after dark after that first night. 1 person was walking into the parking lot and held his arms real wide as I drove by him as though he may have been looking for trouble... I just didn't stop. Wasn't really a big deal. We may just start paying a little extra and stay in Kure Beach next time. We like driving out on the beach at Ft. Fisher anyway which was the main reason for our visit to this area.
